If you've ever been in Pinup Canada on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, you've likely met our resident bombshell Mel! Since joining the team in May of 2024, she has been an integral piece of our Pinup puzzle. I sat down/stood at the counter and fired off a round of interview questions we're all dying to know!
What is your favourite outfit from Pinup Canada?
My current favourite is my Sweet Cherries Wiggle Skirt with a classic black boatneck top. Or anything cherry that i've ever purchased is also my favourite! *Update - Black Cherry Wrap Dress is comin' in hot on the current favs*
Do you have a beauty product that you can't live without?
I wouldn't be myself without liquid eyeliner! People joke that they can't believe i don't have it tattooed on yet since i'm rarely seen without it!
Favourite song and band?
This is very difficult but i think i have to pick The Slackers for the band. And i feel like my favourite song by them is the title track of my favourite album by them which is Wasted Days. It's kind of a sad song, and i've definitely cried seeing them play it live.
Coffee or tea?
I only recently started drinking coffee, but i would say chai if it's tea, or iced coffee. If you had asked me a year ago it would have 100% been tea but now i apparently need my caffeine fix.
Favourite food?
I could eat tacos every day for the rest of my life and i would be happy.
Guilty Pleasure
Trashy dating shows and wedding dress shows. I have no idea why. I just like seeing people at their best and bringing out their confidence, which is a big part of why i wanted to work here!
Favourite part of working at Pinup
This is so difficult! I love being part of such a wonderful community and meeting customers from all over, and working with Jen and all of my amazing colleages. I feel like i am home <3
