This Summer, Pinup Canada got a bit of a facelift! The brick and mortar shop has gone through a few different phases over the years, but this one was a biggie! As many of our in store shoppers (and loyal online lurkers) may have seen, we exposed the brick in a portion of the wall back in the Spring. With our online store refresh, we began taking all of our own photos for the products we carry. We were fortunate enough to have access to the vacant space next door to us to conduct our shoots, but I was really wanting something more permanent, as that space won't be vacant forever. The exposed brick is such a beautiful accent, and it's so cool to have a bit of history on display! While a portion has been replaced, the original brick dates back to 1902!! How cool is that?!
Leading into the Summer, the City of Vancouver and BC Hydro had a ton of super inconvenient roadwork going on, so we figured what better time than then to close for a couple of days and do what we've been putting off doing for a while now! The walls were repainted a nice bright white, the mirrors had their borders painted a cheery teal, and our brand presence has been amplified throughout the store! I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out!
I'd like to take you on a little trip down memory lane!
